Star Office Added to Google Pack
A complete office
suite software provided for free by Google! This is now true thanks to an
agreement between Google and Sun, and the terms are that the Java runtime
is included in the Google toolbar with a counterparty that has now been unveiled...
To be able to run the software from Sun, the pack now includes the Java runtime
increasing the size of the download to 140 megas, but it now includes a complete
word processor with an image editor, a spreadsheet and a database manager.
