The Patent troll Eolas once wanted major actors of the Web to pay a license for a patent they own on interactive pages, they said. But a jury in a Texas court ruled the patents are invalid, so Tim-Berners-Lee tweeted a satisfaction we all share, of course.

"Misinformed?" So a writer who worked for TechCrunch for 5 years to tell us about what is happening on the Web does not know what is going on in his own business?

In response to a blog post from Google officials accusing Microsoft, Apple and others to unite to kill Android with patent claims against the manufacturers of mobile phone to make them pay a fee, a manager of Microsoft posted this Tweet :

We offered to join us and they refused. To be honest, it is primarily the purchase of Nortel patents with Apple and RIM that is of concern... Answer of Google.

On January 20, 2011, Eric Schmidt, who ran the company for 10 years announced he will be replaced by Larry Page as CEO starting from April 4. On Twitter he gives an explanation in one sentence: Google no longer needs to be supervised by an adult!
